Detailed Specifications
The United Tote F Series terminal brings new levels of function and flexibility to the marketplace. The terminal was designed to enhance the wagering experience for patrons in both self-service and teller modes of operation.
Flippability
The F Series can be flipped between staffed and self-service modes of operation or dedicated to self-service operation full time. In self-service mode, the terminal runs the professionally designed and highly flexible EnterBet™ Express, EnterBet™ Deluxe and EnterBet™ CashExchange wagering applications. In staffed mode, the terminal runs the EnterBet™ Teller wagering application. The hardware, in combination with the wagering application software have translated to increased wagering handle everywhere F Series terminals are deployed.
Compact Packaging of All Peripherals
The F Series was designed by United Tote engineers (responsible for designing two previous generations of United Tote terminals) in collaboration with Design Industry, a major industrial design firm that focuses on high-tech Point of Sale and Kiosk hardware design. The terminal design therefore supports the unique operational needs and service demands of racetracks and OTBs while incorporating latest point-of-sale industry practices in ergonomics and customer service.
Modular Servicing
The F Series runs on the Microsoft® Windows® operating system and gives racetracks and OTBs the flexibility to implement features as desired. All modules of the terminal (CPU, printer, reader, customer display, keyboard, etc.) are readily accessible to technicians. Peripherals are hot-swappable and self-initializing, so repairs are fast and easy.
